Where is Oxford Falls Racquet Club located?
Oxford Falls Racquet Club is located in Oxford Falls on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, just a short drive from Frenchs Forest, Dee Why, Collaroy, Brookvale and surrounding suburbs. Our beautiful bushland setting makes it feel like a hidden local gem while still being easy to access.
Do I need to be a member to play?
No, you do not need to be a member to enjoy the club. Casual court bookings are available for visitors, and membership options are also available if you’d like access to discounted rates, priority bookings and club benefits.
Is parking available at the club?
Yes, there is lots of convenient on-site parking available for members, visitors, families and guests attending events or programs.
Can beginners play at the club?
Absolutely! We welcome players of all ages and skill levels, whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time or already playing competitively. Our coaching team can help you get started and feel confident on court.
Do you have food and drinks available?
Yes, food, coffee and refreshments are available on-site, making it the perfect place to stay a little longer and enjoy the club atmosphere before or after your game.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?
Membership gives you access to discounted court hire, priority bookings, club events, competitions and other member-only benefits. It’s a great option for regular players and families who want to make the most of the club.
Parties & Events FAQs
Do you host birthday parties?
Yes, we offer fun and memorable kids’ birthday party packages including court games, coaching activities and food options. With plenty of sunshine, space to play and a beautiful outdoor setting, it’s the perfect venue for a birthday celebration.
Can I book the club for corporate events?
Yes, the club is a fantastic venue for team-building events, social tournaments and private functions. Please give us a call or fill in our contact form and we’d be happy to discuss available dates, group sizes and what you’re looking to create for your event.
Bookings & Policies
What happens if it rains or the courts are wet?
If weather conditions affect your booking, please contact the club as soon as possible. Depending on the booking type, we can advise on rescheduling options, credits or refunds in line with our booking policy.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, bookings can generally be changed or cancelled within the applicable notice period. We recommend contacting us as early as possible if your plans change so we can assist with rescheduling options and advise on any applicable credits or refund conditions.
Do you offer refunds or credits?
Where eligible, refunds or account credits may be issued for cancelled bookings, wet weather disruptions or club-initiated changes. Once a booking has commenced, refunds are generally not available unless the court becomes unplayable due to weather or safety reasons.
What should I bring to my session?
Please bring suitable court shoes, comfortable activewear, a water bottle and your racquet or paddle if you have one. If you need equipment, please contact us in advance and we’ll let you know what’s available.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your booking or lesson so you have time to check in, warm up and settle in before your session starts.
Do you have racquets or paddles available for hire?
Yes, equipment may be available for casual visitors, beginners and introductory sessions. If you require a tennis racquet or pickleball paddle, please contact us in advance so we can help arrange this for your visit or chat with us at reception.
Are balls included with court hire?
Tennis balls and pickleball equipment may be available depending on your booking type or session. Please contact us in advance if you need equipment so we can confirm what’s included.
Lessons & Weather
Can private lessons be shared with more than one person?
Yes, absolutely. Private lessons can be shared between two or more people, making them a great option for friends, siblings or family members who would like to learn together. For larger groups, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to recommend the best lesson format and pricing to suit your group.
What is the time frame for cancelling a lesson without losing my booking?
We understand that plans can change. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or amend your booking. Where sufficient notice is provided, we will do our best to help reschedule your lesson to another suitable time. If weather impacts your booking, please call us and we’ll work with you on alternative options.
How will I know if lessons are cancelled due to wet weather?
For all wet weather updates relating to coaching classes and lessons, we will communicate any cancellations as early as possible via our website, social media pages and direct contact where appropriate.
Where possible, a decision will usually be made at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson time, however later sessions may be reviewed closer to their start time depending on changing weather conditions.
Please note: if there is no cancellation notice or update posted, lessons are generally still going ahead as scheduled.

Can I make up a lesson?
Yes, make-up lessons may be arranged provided at least 24 hours’ notice has been given prior to the scheduled lesson time.
Please note that no-shows or last-minute cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit the lesson and any make-up privileges. If a lesson is cancelled by the club due to wet weather, extreme heat or unsafe court conditions, we will work with you to arrange a suitable make-up session where possible.

What happens in the event of lightning or high temperatures?
Player safety is always our top priority. If the temperature reaches 40°C or above, or if conditions are considered unsafe due to extreme heat, classes and on-court activities may be cancelled or postponed, and where possible a make-up lesson or alternative session can be arranged.
In the event of lightning or storms in close proximity to the courts, all on-court activities will cease immediately and players will be moved to a safe area until conditions improve. If the session cannot continue, we will work with you on suitable make-up options.
